Point me in the right Direction

Alright Guys, I've browsed this site up and down... many useful tutorials and I think I have a grasp on how to Homebrew.

To Be frank... I want to play downloaded games in ISO Format. Now let me tell you what I have.

My firmware is 2.71 and a TA-082.

So I suppose the thing to do is Downgrade to 1.50 and then install some custom firmware.

Questions are... Do I have to downgrade to be able to play homebrew ISO type games? If not where can I find a tutorial.

If I downgrade to 1.50 and then use a custom firmware... will I have the same capabilities as my 2.71 does (Web Browser etc)

Which Custom firmware should I use?...

I've been so confused as to which tutorials to follow it's driving me insane.

If you downgrade to 1.50, you will not have the same capabilities as 2.71, unless you upgrade to 3.02 OE-A which has all the capabilities up to 3.02+ firmware.
Also, you do not have to downgrade to play homebrew, although its reccomended. For 2.71, use the homebrew enabler.

Where can I find the instructions on how to use Hen D.

I mean... I got it... I can get it to run... but where do I go from there to get downloaded games to run on it?

A loader?... which is best to use with Hen D?

Alright... I'll downgrade.

Once I downgrade... and update to a custom firmware... will it come with a program to launch ISO's... or will I need to get a seperate program... if so which one?
