Madden NFL 09

Has anyone played this yet? I played the Demo but I didn't care for it too much, A few times when I threw the ball to my receivers it went right through there hands like it never touched them. And it was impossible to play defense! Maybe the actual game will be a lot better, I'm gonna pick it up later today.

yes the defense is much better. ive never dropped a pass yet, and ive made around 3 interceptions in one game.
you can set weather or not you would like to play as a rookie or not. rookie gives you small hints and keeps the game fun.
or you can play advanced which has no hints and is clearly for thos who have lost their challenge from rookie.

Yea I'm playing the actual game and it is much better. I never pay attention to hints, but I have no idea what skill level I set it at. I've only played one game so far.

when you are in the main menu, go to my madden and go to gameplay settings. then game and you can set the skill level there. you can also set the quarter length as well. i changed that to two minutes cause if i dont ill have around 45 points by the end of the first quarter lol.

I got the game for PS3, it took me a few tries but I am getting into it. I think all the bad luck from the first games went into the other since I got slammed two guys to gather some fumbles and I caught 2 interceptions to win 28 - 7 against Dallas, Tony Romo is a beast in that game.

Idk, it seems like somethings wrong with the Fields, and like its a much worse game than 08 and 07....

Definitely, the previous versions were much better . Still, it is fun to play against friends but I won't do much dynasty play.

idk how the game got worse.... its a little confusing lol
