USB hard drive for psp

If you don't have enough storage on your memory stic, consider these options.

1.

This product allows you to transfer files from the hard drive to your memory stic for increased storage but with transfer waiting times. However, it does not allow direct streaming of music or movies from the drive to your psp.

2. For those of us that want streaming, you need a usb drive with built in usb hosting such as this,

The only problem with this is that the usb input plug is usb 2.0. The psp only accepts mini usb plugs. so you need something like this

Plug the adapter in to the appropriate plugs and use your hard drive. USB ISO loader v0.7 is needed for this. It can be gotten here

Congrats, you now have mass storage with your psp. If anybody has a problem or a better solution, let me know.

ok, but i was proposing a set up where a computer isnt needed. like if you dont have a laptop and your on a long car trip and you 1 gig mem stic cant hold all of the music/movies/ps1 games you want to have. or if u LEGALLY get psp iso's from the playstation store (yes they offer them for older psp games) and some of those are 1 gig

iR Shell dosen't require a PC either. It has USB host, and it can load ISO's from an HDD, or PC via usbhost.

The HDD does need USB Host. I mean't iR Shell can access the HDD via USBHost.

Ok since roxfox gave a wayy better solution, I believe this isn't needed in the tutorials section. We don't need those items advertised on the forum either.
