Stuck in version 7.5 need help

Hey guys, my friend just gave me his old psp and i went to update it to link it with my ps3 for remote play but when i did, it said i had a newer version already. When i looked at the system info it said i had version 7.5 installed. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please.....

The only way to go back from a firmware that high, at the moment, is to use a pandora battery. UNLESS, it's a psp-3000 (newest)

Unfortunately its a psp 1000. I have a Pandora battery my friend gave me with the psp but don't know how to use it. Do u know of any good tutorials. Thanks.

If you use this... http://pspslimhacks.com/rains-ultralite ... 500-m33-4/ and put it in your PSP while booting it with the pandora battery in, it'll put you on Custom Firmware Version 5.00 M33-4. If you have any questions regarding CFW or OFW let me know.

there is no 7.5!!!!!!

Either way, I wouldn't know. Been used to Gen for awhile now.

if you get both then put in the memory stick, and put in the pandora, it should take you to a menu, then press 'x' on Install CFW..
