Please Help a Noob Out! ! !

Okay so from reading all the topics. It is my understanding that all i need to play iso games is to downgrade to 1.5, put in on the memory stick and go to memory and run the game. Do I still need any program like UMD Loader and stuff like that or is just a stright load after downgrading? All I want is to able to run backups don't need all other fency stuff.

Upgrade to a custom firmware like

3.03 OE-C

Then their is no need to use devhook or anything like that. You just have to have a folder in the root of your memory stick titled ISO. Then you just drag your ISO/CSO in that folder and they will be in your game section.

So I can play most of the games out there with that firmware?

So now i know how to play backups and I see that this community ahve the downgraded for the new mother board so is it true that I can just to to EB and play a PSP and do all the step 1.) downgrade then install the firmware and I can play the game??? As soon as i get an answer i'll go get it tonite . = )
