It is a standard Samsung part and not specific to Sony. The datasheets aren't online at the moment but can be requested from your local Samsung distributor. A SMD rework station will be needed to remove the part from the PSP board without damaging it if you want to dump the contents.
It can be accessed through flash0 and flash1.
The questions here are: if firmware is stored here exclusively, whether or not the flash is MagicGate FRAM protected, how to dump the thing and how to program the thing.
If firmware updates change microcode in the main processor and or media processor, the above questions probably become moot.
