Ad-Hoc Online
From PSPWiki
XLink Kai (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/) - tunnelling software fools your PSP into thinking that other PSPs on the internet are part of your Wi-Fi LAN.
In order to play PSP Ad-Hoc over the Internet, you need a broadband internet connection with a wired connection to your computer as well as a compatible wireless card (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5154). You also need the XLink Kai software (free on the site). User guides to properly configure your computer's wireless card for XLink can be found here (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5649).
You can also use a Linksys WRT54G/S wireless router with modified firmware made by XLink for Ad-Hoc PSP use. A description of that process can be found here (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8757).
Once you have configured XLink and your wireless card properly, the XLink software is simple to use and also allows you to chat with the people you are playing with. XLink also provides support for LAN-capable X-Box, PlayStation 2 and Gamecube games.
