Edit anim in UI

This device is quite easily portable, the core of it. All one would need to do is rewrite the ui(Easy part) and the main socom functions to support your desired game.

Just a note: This is a few thousand lines, took several months to get it working great.

Note on the SSLoader: It is working fine. Make a file "ms0:/seplugins/baconsplash.txt" and put in it whatever you might want. Putting '%d'(one time and one time only) sticks the countdown timer on the screen in place of the %d. In addition, if you do not have the text file, it will not load the splash, and instead will go straight to the main menu.

Note on the samples.c: It's not up-to-date.

Note as a whole: If you use this online you need to throw your PSP off of the empire state building and/or never use it again.

Note on bakonmods: Just make a .txt entitled bakonmods.txt in ms0:/seplugins and it will load auto-load modules from that text file. If the file doesn't exist, it skips right over. In addition, it uses the thread that is about to be terminated, so you shouldn't notice any speed craps.

Note on the save: It saves as ms0:/seplugins/bakon.bin, it's a binary. Editing it IS possible, if you know what you're doing, but it can lead to some no-no effects(no pun intended) that you don't want. Just don't touch it, lol.

Note On the Custom Menu:
Easy as pie to use, examples on the "YourMenu" function of samples.c. Supports One-Line codes at the moment, I MIGHT do multi-line later, but it didn't occur to me at the time of writing it up.
If anyone is willing to write something to collect from a text file, by all means, do it.
From what I can tell, it doesn't have any bugs, which is quite awesome thus far. As of version 1.22, I have added an auto-counter, that makes it so it automatically finds the first spot available, and sticks it there. On that note, you MUST initialize your variables only once (at the beginning works great), otherwise it's flawless.

Any bugs, email me at 'nofx@tshcodes.com'.
Full source code is available.
I check on a once-every-few-hours basis

BakonICE PROJECT SUPPORTS OPEN SOURCE MKULTRA

Thanks:
NoEffex - Core, everything but the hijack and most of animated name
SANiK - Animated name, as well as the framebuffer hijacking method of non-extreme-flicker
dmonchild - Hijack, slightly based off of pspbricker, as well as done the latest porting of the bricker.
Tonic - Ported the bricker for 1.60 patch
(pspbricker is the name of the animated name module by SANiK, DOES NOT brick psp)

A well thought out explanation of this whole situation:

listen, NoEffex is doing an amazing job at well? What hes doing. Ive personally looked at this source and well you might not belive it, or you might but it doesnt matter but this cheat device plugin is more then 1-2 thousand tries, four thousand, no. keep trying the whole source is pretty big. hes doing a great job on it.

There are many cheats that are old and were released back in the day when the general public was in a MUCH smaller view, and more turst worthey. In the past year not even close, Ill be honest I miss 1.0-1.3 days people wouildnt have anything, and you have gud stuff, that was cool. Nowadays people have everything, doesnt matter. I go ingame and people are asking wtf thats one of does animations!!!(currently bakon doesnt allow to disable the threads so its always on =() And people ask how to make a pandora, they cant even do it. pretty sad. The only reason, most of the time its for cheating socom, and very little other homebrew releated to chating. Its truely a shame! When people say move on, that games old etc… Well some of us have been around too long to let go of this game, I myself and Im sure a few others, at times whould have a hard time doing so, some of us could tell you every code released, by whom, wud patch, etc. if you still play this game be glad noEffex here isnt putting in things that could totally wreck this game. The codes are out there(VIP by tonic, 30 error boot, make people kill each other, force taunt, etc… List goes on. Im sure in a very short run we will be pleased to see all those codes we dream of be released. Long run? Game over, destroyed. Everyone would obtain them, create more cheating nublets, then there already is. People see how others act in that game, they wanna be the same. I tell them its not worth it, Its hard to say as Ive been through it all but I woulld have MUCH rather of had the original TSH, MVH, Hi5, and HA NEVER have released any codes, I would find it much more fun to see a video of them using those cheats, then sharing them.

ANY codes should have NEVER have been made public, same with cheat devices. Nite Pr, In my mind its a big oooppps. I still like CWcheta btw.

If cheats were never released, there would be MUCH less cheating and actual hackers, not those 13 year olds claiming to be “hackers” when they dont even now wud a nop or the MIPS assembly language is, all they know is copy and pasting, thats the lanugage they speak, and the actions they know?….greed.

Ill move on, but its hard to see people release things! hijcker? Shouldnt have been done, PSPbricker, should have been made public? Good L33T codes, never have should of been shown!

It would have been MUCH better also, if people who understood hacking socom, sure you might know decent MIPS, such as myself but if no one, ever makes guides how to actually make codes, who will learn? Not too many people. You can sit down and look and understand all the commands, floats, registers, etc in MIPS, though you might not know how to actually sue them for hacking. My point?

Guides should be released on how to do everything that can possibly done, even things that shouldn’t be shared too much, but let them actually learn, belive me it WILL help if people did just that. Reasoning? people can actually learn C, and MIPS, and make things for themselves instead of buggin those who do. Many people say you should teach yourself. I agree partly on that, currently there are not too many guide on how to make code and plugins, if you don’t know anyone who could teach you…you will never learn, simple as that. i belive people should release guides on how to make codes and plugins as examples, Im sure it would help.

Theres SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more I could get into, many aspects of this game and its way of cheating, I dont have the time now, nor do I want to make this response too big.

@NoEffex/everyone I hope you took the time to read this and listen, people have a voice, listen…It can and WOULD imporve the future of this game, perhaps the people who quit, could come back?

Ive been around since socom 2-3 and now all the way through socom ftb/ftb2. My brother? Socom 1-2 he knows, and so do I what we two have observed in this series of cheating, we know and Im sure other people do know why, this happened? We know the answer is ourselfs. If we dont change this for the better now, it might nver happen.

So listen to wud people have to say, it can fix this game for the better.
