i just like to say I have finished the banning of the spammers (until they get more IP's and emails and think of usernames...) but as all good! now i guess terd or someone will un-admin me and i will be a regular poster again

Its not over. They will come back at 5 pm. Which is 30 min from now.
Their will be more massive spams, and we had better be ready, because theirs not just going to be that guy alone again, theirs going to be a lot more!
We have to be ready for the worst.

Usually some spammers tend to use common email services for spamming. You should ban all users that have .ru in their email extensions. Like: *@*.ru Or other ones that you know are spamming your boards.

Also enabling the visual confirmation code is great. Lots of times computer porgram are registering.. so this would effect the way the tend to spam. If they are live bots.. then use the email banning method. Unfortunately IP blocking doesn't help. Unless you are blocking an entire network of known spammers (China, Russia, and other countries.) IP blocking is ineffective because anyone with some training can drop their IP and renew it at a drop of a hat.

if spammers come back terd is just gonna make me an admin again and i guess i will do more cleaning up and banning! BRING ON THE SPAMMERS!!!!!!
