i wanted to mod my xbox but i dont see how i can connect it to my PC. the tut im using doesnt say.
can someone hep me?

What kind of mod are you using? A softmod or a hard mod? And link us to the tut if you would like, we could probably help more.

You can not do anything via network until AFTER your Xbox is modified.

If you really really want to mod your box then buy or build a chip.

If you do not know how to solder, find an electronics tech to do if for you or try some of the solderless solutions available. Know your Xbox motherboard version before you buy a solderless solution.

Although the chip is not necessary I recommend it for all initial mod attempts because it makes recovery and starting over a lot easier.

If you mess up a non chip mod installation the easiest way for you to recover will be with a chip. So you may as well go get one and have it standing by.

Well you could use one of the softmod exploits like the mech assualt one, so you have temporary FTP access to your xbox, like when you use UDE2 to softmod your xbox. Although a modchip is more reliable though, and better imo. Just costs money and thats one thing I don't have a lot of.
