48 hour trial problem

Ok I had to get a Silver Membership first, and I did, but when I enter
the 48 hour trai code under the Marketplace, I get

"Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later
Status code: 80153004

Are you sure your receiving a signal?

It sounds as if ur not connected to Live at all.

Try connectiong ur Ethernet cord directly to your modem. Then try it.

Everything is connected fine, I called up customer support and they said the problem was I needed to do it
only on the Weekend. So starting Saturday, it should work.

But the weird thing is, I'm already connected to Xbox Live when I got the 1 month Silver Membership which
is free, so is their a point to activating the 48 hour trial at all?

EDIT: I just realized when you first create an account for Silver Membership, it gives you 1 month of Gold
for free LOL. That probably explains why I can't redeem the 48 hour trial code.
