Pal games on NTSC modded wii?

Using Wiiloader, THC, and normal softmods is it possible to run PAL games on a NTSC Wii?

Yes, Waninkoko's leaked loader is region free, however the loader's compatibility is not 100%.

You can search around for a compatibility list. Oh, and I guess NTSC Wii's (N. America/Japan) have video issues. If you have component cables it should be ok, but I read that using the stock AV cables gives video issues.

Hmm, I used a PAL Metroid Prime 3 and the Wii Loader recognized it, but it wouldnt play. My tv said not supported mode. I assumed that due to that PAL games would not run. Maybe I am wrong....I thought you had to use WiiFrii to make it work.

Brent, have you tested a PAL game on NTSC-U system? If so, what game so I can test also.

That was info I looked up. I have a modchip on my Wii, so I don't need the loader. Nor do I feel comfortable using it since it was left in a beta stage.
