just curious iof its possible to play a wii game off a sd card. watched a video on youtube says you need to download a file i did opened it on my pc and it said your wii has been updated . thank god i didnt add it to my wii. just curious if its possible

depends on which game you mean.

homebrew game - actually you cant play it other way
wiiware - nope,only installing from sd WHICH IS ILLEGAL!
virtual console - look up
dvd backups - no,you have to load them by backup loader(which is run from sd)
