MPlayer Trouble

Sorry for being noobish but we all have to start somewhere. Could anyone and I do mean anyone, inform me on why my Mplayer wont play dvds anymore. It'll play video files that are on my SD card but for some reason, dvds wont play at all. It's like one day I put in a movie and it wont play anymore. Do I need to re-install anything, delete and re-install. What should I do??? I have Homebrew Channel 9, Wii System Menu 3.4. By the way I've played movies before and after the latest system update on my Wii. I'm tired of watching the two videos that I have on my SD card. I really want to watch movies again. I don't want to buy a dvd player. MPlayer is one of the greatest programs I've downloaded. If anyone is willing to offer any type of assistance, that would be greatly appreciated. Again so so so sorry for the noobness of me.

Try installing DVDx for system menu 3.4 , It's a totally different release

Where can I find DVDx for system menu 3.4. I would like to download it a.s.a.p. Also, will it work with a system menu 3.2 when I downgrade my Wii.
