Auto Update Question

Hi, I just installed the home brew channel and usb loader progs to my wii, I am using 3.4U, question:

1. If I try to play one of the WII games I already own, will it try to update the firmware automatically? For example if I put in WII Music will it try to auto update the WII or will I always be given the option to say no?

it may ask you to update but it will ask you if u wish to update.

Also note, there's nothing stopping you from putting the games you own onto your USB device. Games loaded onto a USB drive usually have their update partitions left out, I believe. Even if the updates are still there, USB loader programs should skip updates automatically.

what BlackSheep said is basicly true however the CIOS doesnt handle updates and isnt programmed to handle updates thats why when you load a disc from USB it won't also you can use Gecko to freeload games, or easiest of easy, just remove the update.
