problem reading discs

i hav a problem in my wii:
every time i put a disc in the wii i hear the first sound u hear when u insert a disc but then i hear it twice and then it doesnt read at all.......whats the problem? any ideas? it is a hardware or software problem?
P.S: the rest of the wii works fine and hacked

have you got any Custom Ios's that use the disc drive? does the blue light come on?
it could be the Disc player has burned out.

yea i use custom ios for backups, the blue light comes on but it just hear that sound when u insert a disc twice.
if i need to take out the custom ios then fine cuz i no linger use backup games anymore.

do legal games not work? it could be a burnt out disc drive, im hoping its not. no its not custom Ios's what rev of waninkoko's custom ios do u have.

well i dont know whats the rev but if it works then ill just erase/downgrade it
if it is the burnt of the disc drive then dont u need to let it rest for a while?
and yea the legal games dont work
