Load previous saved game file when playing usb loader game

I was playing Super Mario Galaxy from DVD before i configured the wii to play games from USB hard drive. Now i have the game on the USB hard drive but when i go to play it my saved game file isnt there. How do i copy it over?

The only time I've seen that be an issue is if the disc version was a different region copy than the .iso you are using. If that's the case, I'm not sure if there is a way to convert the save file to a different region because I've never personally ran into the issue, but there may be a way.

Thanks JustinWoodypond. It was a PAL NTSC thing. Im all set now.
