homebrew browser server down?

homebrew browser server down?

Hi I am a total nooblet to all of this and just soft modded my wii but there seems to be a problem with the browser app. I tried manually visiting the codemii site as well. Any info at all?

make sure your connectivity is right? also maybe try unplugging / plugging back in your router.

Thanks I tried that. I am not sure what else to do. The last message I see when trying to load the browser is:

Requesting IP address of www.codemii.com
IP of www.codemii.com successfully retrieved.

Then Read error 116 occurred. Retrying...

Then it stops and does nothing else.


Guess I will just have to keep trying.

I updated homebrew channel to latest version and then it installed the browser.

Can I ask another newb question. What is a WAD file. I been lookin on youtube at setting up to play iso's but theres way too many bad videos on there.

The WAD file-format is a file-format that contains information for the wii, such as System Menus, IOSs, and Channels.
