Honestly, this goldeneye stuff is getting annoying.

Yes, someone was able to inject the rom into a sin and punishment wad. BUT he never shared the wad, nor did he tell anyone how to do it.

Unless new information is released about wad injection or this actually turns up, I'll be locking anymore threads having to do with goldeneye.

Wow no reason to lock a perfectly good topic. I haven't noticed a lot of threads about goldeneye on here, if any at all. I for one would love to see a goldeneye release on the shop channel or an injected wad.

He's mentioned golden eye several times in different threads.

He's needed help getting Wii64 running... I even sent him the goldeneye rom for it, but as Wii64 is still a WIP, he wasn't satisfied. I tried injecting the rom into a wad myself. It doesn't work. Freezes at the "connect a classic controller" screen... as does it do this for everyone else. Only 1 person has been able to do it, but that's because he went through and edited the coding of the game to make it injectable.

I've done a lot of searching and followed a bunch of threads. Only 1 person has done it, and he's not sharing the info any time soon. Goldeneye is not going to be playable on the Wii anytime soon either. That's why I said no more goldeneye threads until NEW information surfaces.

EDIT: Been doing even more research. The injection compatibility for 64 games is incredibly low. Very few games are even working because many 64 games have been programmed in a variety of ways. If a game you want to play isn't released officially for VC, then chances are you're not playing it until Wii64 improves.

Well that makes more sense. No reason to lock this topic, but if more surface then of course.

That happens to be one that works... MOST 64 games don't though.

Don't get smart with someone that knows a heck of a lot more about the Wii homebrew scene than you do.

I think he asked this because we know about the scene. Not to smart off to you.

I think this applies...

The Wii64 coders have been working on a dynarec (dynamic recompiler) for a while now, and progress is slow.

It doesn't look like we'll be getting a fullspeed/graphically presentable N64 emulator on Wii for a while.
So I herd you liek modchipz?

It seems like it's a very hard thing to do. They've been working on the recompiler for a long time so far and haven't made amazing progress so far.

Just curious

What if the people that are working on the Wii64 emulator try to work with the people or person that created the Project64 Emulator?
