Good Day,

I sent a ps3 game via ftp from my pc to my ps3

when i tried to play it the manager said can not play split files

ive been trying to google the net but all i found was regarding an enclosure, and installing a package that would un slipt those files as it transfers to the internal hdd

is there anyway to unsplit it from the pc because i dont have and external

TIA

you can join the files on Ur PC using hjsplit you can get it from here http://www.freebytesoftware.com/download/hjsplit.zip then transfer using ftp you only need to split the files if using a external cause it needs to be in fat32 format and it won't accept files over 4 gig

Looks like a backup manager has split them, you'll need to use whatever manager to rejoin them and copy it to the internal drive, these days you'll probably be seeing more and more games with files over 4GB to stop people using cheap external drives for games :)
