Want to unhack my ps3, help?
Posted: Thu Apr 21, 2011 8:49 amCurrently on 3.55 kmeaw and I want to unhack my system to have PSN back and be able to get all my legit stuff back. I have a few questions about this.
1.) Do I just let it update to the latest FW to unhack it?
1a.)If yes to above, should I reformat first to remove installed games from the internal to recover the space on the HD?
1b.) If no to question 1, What do I need to do to unhack it?
2) Is there a way to know if my system is already flagged to be console banned or a way around it? I want to unhack it but at the same time I don't want the Sony axe coming down on me as soon as/soon after I do so.
2a.) If yes to 2 or if it's safe to unhack and go back on PSN in general, would it be safe to go back to using my original, non-dummy PSN account (which has a lot of stuff tied to it that I don't want to lose access to)
2b.) If no to 2 or if there's no way to be safe after unhacking, should I just leave it hacked?
