Posted: Mon Aug 06, 2012 9:59 pmafter those 2 contact points on the batter stopped touching, 10 minutes if searching on the usb stick, it found the update. from there it was quick and without error.
future reference for people like me: have patience! go watch something on your laptop or the tv for a bit, and have your ps3 on a tv you can see to check on it. i had a tiny tv on the floor myself. patience, and more sure everything is connected properly.
