What's everyone's favorite GTA?
I haven't played 4 but I heard it was awesome. I loved GTA: LCS.

San Andreas and Liberty City... I never got the chance to play GTA 4...

San Andreas is the best because you can steal planes and base jump. It needs to be re-released on 360 or something in it's entirety.

I hate how in GTA IV you can't even get into a plane. I guess it's post 9/11 sh*t or something like that. Sick of this "Nanny state" we are living in.

Anyhow GTA 4 wasn't bad but it could have been so much better.

GTA 4 doesn't allow you to get into planes?! What about helicopters??
I didn't like San Andreas even though it was cool that there were skate parks and bikes.

You can get into an egg beater and I think you can jump out of one but there are no parachutes.

I used to get into the lear jet in SA and fly as high as I could then jump out. The plane would crash somewhere and I would wait till the last second to open the chute in the middle of downtown. With luck, I would survive the opening but would get hit by a car and die.

Ah the good ole days.

GTA Vice City! I remember staying up past midnight destroying other vehicles and getting frustrated on all the missions! But the army helicopter was worth it all!

Grand Theft Auto 2, Vice City Stories, and San Andreas are all stand up titles, in my opinion. In GTA 4, btw, you can use two helicopters that I know of. One is the standard Maverick from the other games and the other is the military one. I think there's a police helicopter but I think it has the same stats as the typical Maverick and there's a news chopper you can see once you rack up wanted stars but I never found it, so I assume you can't use it.

San Andreas is my favorite out of it, GTA4 and LCS. I'm not really a huge fan of the series though.

What are your favorite parts of San Andreas?

I liked the overall atmosphere of San Andreas. The neighborhood and gang territory and the map is just awesome. I had a lot of fun with the coop too.

I used to have fun taking to cars and parking them horizontally at the end of a road.... all the cars behind used to get blocked, I would perform the cheat for weapons (there were 3, but I can't remember which one) and grab the Bazooka, Fire it on the first car... and watch all of the others explode....

On San Andreas, I remember that I could block the highway at like 2 and wait until rush hour... The road would get filled with cars crashing into each other!! Then, I could get my bazooka out and shoot at the mass of cars from the air with my jet-pack on.
