Getting into the DJing game

So heres how the story goes. Ive been hanging out at these dances that my friend whos 3 years older than me DJ's these dances and one night he had to leave for 10 mins and he asked me to DJ and I played a little bit of the good rap that exists, some of todays music and (SIC) by slipknot (oh, and I did the scratches PERFECTLY) and that one taste of it inspired me to start DJing so heres some of the beginers equipment im gonna be getting, http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gemini-Dire ... 1535190.gc

I already have decent headphones, and 3000$ worth of speakers. so its good.

I love this! You should do some mixes and remixes of rock and rap songs. :D

Re: Getting into the DJing game

Yeah, that's for sure! Post them online! I did quite a few about 2 years ago and only posted one on the site. I always used a mix of other programs. Try using Audacity for adding the finishing touches on your songs or polishing them up. I always used it to merge segments of my songs together because it was really advanced for freeware.

I've had a few ideas for some good autotuning songs that I wanted to test because I've never used it but I've been busy with college preparation and my secret project.
