Okay, there is some catastrophe that is going to happen so you are helping them out by shutting it but you get locked in by accident. They have to go hide in their storm shelters or whatever until it passes and can't help get you out or they will die. Unfortunately, most of Earth's plants are going to be destroyed and you have access to the only seeds that will survive. Now, you have two options.
Do you starve to death, or eat all of the seeds? You can't eat part of the seed amount and you can't escape. You have to choose to either die and let Earth's plants have a future, or you continue living and destroy the remaining hope of ever giving the majority of Earth's species of vegetation a chance to be restored.



There, hopefully I cleared up all of the confusion. You have two choices. Which do you make?

Yea, they would have a way in, but remember that I said, "They have to go hide in their storm shelters or whatever until it passes and can't help get you out or they will die."
They would help you if they could, but they can't until the storm is over, which won't be until you've made your decision to either die or live.
