Is Avatar cool enough to make an RTS based game of it?

Yes! The movie was Dances with Wolves/Ferngully and HALO rolled into 1!

ok, let us get back on topic...

avatar sucked, and i think it took about 15 years for the making... for that much time it is worse then the new cats and dogs....

People are so jaded now lol.

I understand people liking a movie better than another.. but saying a movie was complete garbage is being a little jaded don't you think?

:P

Personally I haven't seen the movie but Halo Wars opened me up to RTS games, and I think any addition would be better than nothing.

Sounds fun.

2 cents.

Aliens was a good show in my opinion and according to IMDB Avatar scored about the same in user ratings.

At least MY comparison relates to sci fi films featuring invading humans and a native alien race!

*High Five*
Aliens was, is and forever will be amazing.
Avatar set a new bar for specail effects everywhere.
The Whole animation of the film was edited on Adobe Premier Cs4, can you believe that!
this film doesn't even compare to some other sifi's tbh.
NO opinion is right, its just that YOUR opinion. Agree disagree do as you wish, this is my opinion.

That's f**k amazing! I figured the big boys would use something else. I know premier is good but it was more for budding and independent studios instead of the big names.

Re: Avatar

I've never seen the movie all the way through, I tried watching it but only got just over an hour in. I probably didn't make it to the interesting parts yet.

Re: Avatar

I liked the film up until the end. I won't ruin it here for those that haven't seen but I felt that the end should have been left to the imagination.

Overall the film looks amazing on Blu-Ray I highly recommend that if you are going to watch it once watch it in this format.

I set it so you could only vote once. This keeps people from emotionally skewing the results.
I guess it's more important that you vote "you don't like RTS games" since some may want to play the game (cause it's a game)even though they haven't seen the movie.
