Re: What do you want for Christmas?

1. Because I have a life
2. Because my friends in Australia have a life
3. People in Sydney just don't go scooting down the street
4. I'm older, my friends are older, and we don't do stuff like that

I'm glad you enjoy your hobby... but scooters were never really that cool, doesn't matter where you are. Rollerblading too... the only two equivalent sports that get any cred are bmx and skateboarding.

Way to be. The last few years I'd been blessed with a female counterpart, but this year, I'm not tied to any one in particular. Go easy on her, tiger!

Sometimes you just have to stay true to who you are though. For instance, I used rollerblades for transportation and exercise for a long time. I've actually melted a few sets of wheels before from rollerblading so much and skitching down highways and stuff... it's honestly the most intense rush I've probably ever got... dare I say more so than sex itself.

Rollerblades are looked at as "fruit-boots" much in the same way that people look down at scooters. Personally, I've always thought that scooters were just completely stupid, but fun in moderation. I couldn't see myself attempting to be a hard a** on rollerblades, much less a scooter, but you just gotta be who you are sometimes. I mean, airplanes likes scooters so... you might as well like what you enjoy to the fullest extent no matter who thinks it's blimey retarded.

Re: What do you want for Christmas?

well, you see, what doesnt get me brent is how you think scooting is gay in the BIGGEST scooting community. seriously. theres more scooterers than skaters or BMXers in austrailia. the shops are amazing, and they ride everywhere.

and theres scooter riders that are around 30 you know... pros...

Just because there are lots of them doesn't make them any less silly.

Re: What do you want for Christmas?

I don't really think it's wise to lecture me on a place that I've lived and you've never been to. In the entire year that I lived in Australia, I didn't see 1 person on a scooter... not 1.
