because que i am no the type of person to knock anyone for their views, however if i was to participate in this debate i would eventually wind up doing that, and Diehard i didn't really think to put Conservative Nor Liberal on there that was my mistake because i just didn't think to add them.

Well then allow me to begin the tongue lashing.

Your Grandpa though well intentioned gave you bad advice. Politics and Religion but more so Politics need to be discussed. A citizen needs to be informed to make proper decisions when it comes to their government (and religion). A person that refuses to participate in politics is doomed to be ruled by his lessors.

If you "knock" anyone you should have facts to support your view. If you can not support your position with facts then yes you should keep quiet but I suspect you know a little something you just keep it to your self and if you don't then asking is a great way to learn(reading is better).

Also, you titled this as a debate. It wouldn't be much of one if everyone agreed on everything so let your self go, gpa isn't looking.

They're all liars and cheaters in my book.

Also imo it's not your place to force "education" on everyone que. If they want to be informed then they will become informed.

This is true, I can not educate everyone. This is where you and everyone else comes in. People need to educate themselves as well as others and weed out the bad teachers by discussing the topics at hand.

Evil only succeeds when good people do nothing.

que i'm not saying i'm not gonna listen to other views but i'm not gonna state mine for two reasons, 1) my views are out there and frankly i get very vocal about them and i don't want to come off as a nut job like i'd most likely do and 2) while my views maybe out there and i may come off as a crackpot for stating them i don't feel like a homebrew forum is the best place for to get on my figurative soapbox and state my views. also while i love my gpa to death (may he rest in peace) i do realize the flaws in his statement. while i don't debate politics online i do debate them within my hunting club.

Well unless your views are racist you wouldn't be the first to get on a soap box and state how you feel on the brew, but if your views are racist then you are wise to keep them to yourself.

dang peer pressure. :P ya'll have worn me down to where i shall state my views. i am an anarchist i hate the current government, and even though i realize some form of government is needed to keep civilization and society going, the one we have now isn't working we are supposed to be a republic but we are headed more towards a totallitarian (sp?) state where the government controls everything. just like the FBI, NSA and CIA can listen in on any cell phone conversation and red any text message at any time does that seem like the people wanted it? i don't think so a republic is supposed to be run for the people when is the last time it was actually for the people? the Anarchy i'm proposing is not a complete anarchy just a minimal where the cops are still in effect but the federal state and local politicians aren't. i also feel that if something doesn't change soon we are headed for another Civil War.
