They could really revolutionize Live by making it more social networking-like in the sense of being able to contact people with ease and see what they're up to and join in if that sounds like fun.

Until then, I don't see a need for it.
See what I did there?

Your not making sense now.

But thats what Party Chat does now? Get on, join a party, become SOCIAL. Contact people with ease and see what they're up to and join in if it sounds like fun.

Party Chat is nothing like a social networking site. I mean like a more simplified Facebook or MySpace. Steam has it, but isn't used much.

Oh now your saying social network site?
Why would you want a Facebook-like thing on Xbox? It seems pointless since you can already talk to your friends. :/

Yea I don't see a need for a facebook-esque system for live, we already have facebook and we have party chat. I don't really have a need for any more facebook stuff if I'm already in a party with my friends like 80% of the time I'm on my xbox. And then when I'm off I use facebook like in class to talk to friends.

Oh if they aren't on neither one then I text them until they do get on one :p

That's what you would need for their Silverlight + Bing push. ;)

Yea because I would really use it when my computer, phone, & psp already have browsers too >.> I'm glad they haven't added more novelty features like that imo.

Once you have it, you would be surprised how much you use it! :P
I didn't think I would use my PS3's, but whenever I want to put some music on, I get my playlist running on YouTube in HD on my HDTV. ;)

When I want to put music on, I fire up iTune (mac), windows media player on windows, pull out my iPod, or let Last.fm play. And Youtube HD for audio sounds pretty over the top.

(Yes its called it laziness)
I really wouldn't want to go and start my laptop, wait for it to turn on, then open its browser (if xbox had one) when my xbox is already on, connected to the internet and all I had to do was open the browser from the dashboard.

He posts a signup link every now and then. Usually i find out by Engadget. So then I go, click the link, sign in to the Xbox Live screen with my console ID and what not...and then get accepted within the next couple of weeks.

Xbox Live Gold memebrs get top priority. Also, usually citizens of the US/North America get the good stuff like this Reach Disk. If its a worldwide update then they obviously do it worldwide.
