Sun-Powered Salamander :D

I don't know about you guys, but I love Biology and just looking at this crazy gene-stuff. One of my classes was heavy on gene-study and mutations, but this is just crazy.
There was a biologist in 1888 named Henry Orr and collected spotted salamander eggs. Upon further inspection, he found that the eggs contained algae inside! He thought that maybe there was some kind of relationship going on where the salamander and algae both benefit. But, he didn't know how. Now we know that the algae actually invades the eggs themselves!
Then, the algae fuses with the embryos inside the eggs and the salamanders grow with genes in each of their cells for photosynthesis-like consumption. :D
