I've DESPERATELY needed a new computer for a while. I originally wanted something with good battery life because I'll be toting this thing around. But then I thought, hey, a good GPU would be nice to have.

Settled on a Sager NP5165, specs are:
  • Display 15.6" FHD 16:9 "Matte Type" Super Clear Ultra Bright LED Anti-Glare Screen w/ 95% NTSC Color Gamut (1920x1080)
  • Processor 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM, 2.2-3.1GHz, (32nm, 6MB L3 cache)
  • Graphics Video Card nVidia GT 555M 2048MB PCI-Express GDDR3 DX11 with Optimus™ Technology
  • Wireless Network Intel® Advanced-N 6230 - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module + Bluetooth
  • Ram 8GB - DDR3 1333MHz Dual Channel Memory

Bought the RAM myself and just stuck with 1333 Mhz to save a little on the price. All-in-all it cost around $1100! Very happy. Just waiting for it to get here.

Sager uses chassis from Clevo, who used to supply Alienware before Dell bought them. They focus on hardware, not flash. That's why I was able to pack in awesome specs for less than $1100. I did find a nice Asus for around $1200 with similar specs, but the keyboard was horrid, and it didn't have a matte screen like this Sager will.
