Im a nooby....Pleaz help

I just want to say hello to everyone. Yesterday I broke down and traded my psp with fw 3.11 for a new one with fw 2.70 so I am ready to rock and roll with all this crazy psp stuff that goes on here. I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on where to start to get custom firmware and which one is best to use.

you need to post in the correct spot
you need to update to 2.71 and then downgrade to 1.5
