'scuse me for noticing but step two seems to be missing in the Downgrading/Unbricking ****Slims**** section (maybe it isnt but it jumps from step 1 - 3... if that is the case plz fix the numbers)...

And is there anyway to do all in the above tutorial with only 1 battery and 1 mem card... i think i understand yu need a second classic (or FAT) psp tho... or is there someway around that as well....
