Easy 2.71 downgrader "Tutorial"by newpspdude

i've got a theme pack folder called PSP-OSS where do i put it
also where do i put video files

PSP OSS goes on the ROOT,video files go in the VIDEO folder of PSP OSS.

folders are ISO
ISOMISC
ISOSPLIT
file MEMSTICK.IND
file MSTK_PRO.IND
PSP>GAME
MUSIC
PHOTO
SAVEDATA

Ah, get 3.0, it includes a Video folder.

one more question though, if i install OE-B and play ps1 games etc, what happens when i buy a psp game that requires the latest firmware?can i only have one or the other?

Edit 2: i dont HAVE to have devhook do i? because i'm going to start this downgrade very soon, and how did you do it without an easy downgrader

Hey, i've been watching this space for a couple of months, i'm in exactly the same boat as bobm (as in i have a IC6001 board) but i am running 2.80 instead, i realise there is a new downgrader for it, but it says that dont have the TA-079 board or whatever the necessary one is, so that obviously isnt going to work.

Could anyone help? my psp is a PSP1000 model, (old) is this in my favour?

what is HEN D and do i need it?

If I format my memory card will it give me the folders I need?

I know I'll lose my data but thats not a problem I'll just put it back on.

Back again.

This time my son has a TA -082 board (bummer I know, I bought both together from same place at the same time 1 was 1 wasn't)

I now see there is a downgrader available for it. But he went to his mates and borrowed a game which required upgrading to fw2.81
so he did from the UMD (I'd already told him not to but thats know it all kids for you)

Now can I get it back to 2.71 so I can run the new downgrader?
And how?

is it possible to upgrade to a firmware like 3.00 and then downgrade to 2.71 or something along those lines?

Im guessing you have upgraded to 2.71 and downgraded to 1.5 already, either way no you don't need HEN-D. Its a
homebrew enabler.

Does this work with a 1gig memory card?

as long as u have nothing else on ur stick it should fit on a 32, i thing there are 16 megs sumwhere, wont fit on those
