nothing much different from 3.03 oe-c. Just slightly better psx emulation and the next generation of xmb modifications.

so do i need to extract or do anything with the 1.50 EBOOT file if i already have a 1.50 PSP?

EDIT: so with the 1.50 download, when u look at it in WinRar like this: Image

and when you extract this file, inside it there is another "EBOOT.PBP" file? when i try to extract the 1.50 EBOOT.PBP file i send it to another location but when i go to there and try to open it it says that "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged". any ideas?

If you have version 1.50, you can get rid of the 1.50 EBOOT.PBP. If it's ever needed for something in the future, you can just download it again. About your "archive unknown or damaged" error, I'd assume that it is because you need to format your memory stick (if that's where the destination is).

nice tutorial slick if u wanted you could make it considerably shorter by offering the the 3.40oe-a full package which contains all the things already needed inside the folders u just have to move the DATA.PSAR file just a thought but anyways nice tutorial:)

Well i was almost finished with this process. but when i click on the red icon with the 3.40 OE-A firmware update and it goes to the other screen. it says it is opening and validating the files but it says they are "nonexisting or invalid dxar for this update".. then goes back to main menu. any ideas?

EDIT: my DATA.DXAR file appears to be 0 KB as in this picture: Image

so im guessing the dxar file is nonexisting or something, because it has no data in it or something.. so mayby if it indeed does need something in it then someone could send it to me or something and i could upload it to my PSP?

EDIT: Aha! i did it.. what messed me up was when i read this:

i thought that meant i didnt need the 1.50.PBP file so i didnt put it in the "oeupdmaker" file. but i decided to try it out later on and it worked. so now my PSP is 3.40 OE-A. Thanks guys!
