can i play umd videos without upgrading

well i was wondering if i can play umd videos that were released after gta without upgrading or is it the same as games

im pretty sure u can. But for the people that upgraded to 2.0 and downgraded to 1.5, some people reports that they cannot watch any umd videos at all.
