Is it worth buying a Psp 3000?

Also, slimmer models are MUCH easier to mod as far as hardware goes. They are a breeze to tear apart compared to the fat models.

What about memory cards 4 apsp, what size has worked just fine?

You can get both 2GB and 4GB Memory Sticks pretty cheap. For the past few weeks I've seen 4GB's go for less than $40.

I dont know anything about hacking, but can anyone tell me the upside n downside about hacking a psp?

well upside is

you can download free PSP games and PSX(PS1) games
you can get CXMB(change the icons and waves in the home menu)
Irshell(you can change the channel on any TV(especally fun on a school TV)
and if you buy a pandoras battery and magic mem stick(the tools used for hacking a PSP) YOU AN MAKE MONEY and wait for the PSP 4000
oh yea and faster charges(I have found)

downsides:
PSP takes long to load sometimes
random freezing
BRICKING!
Blue screen of death has been noticed on PSPs quite a bit now

anyways dont get the 3000 kuz it has LCD problems
dont get the slim kuz the only one I can find in canada is the blue(Madden) ones and they are unmoddable
Get a fat kuz there easyer to mod and u can find anywhere

3000 fails. get 2000. i dunno where the guy up there heard from saying that psp3000 is cracked cuz it is not... FAIL!!!!
