So I upgraded to 5.00 M33-6

And so far, I'm regretting it. Mainly because of the lack of CXMBs. I've tried to find the Alienware theme I was using but I had no luck. The only one I found even remotely appealing was a Joker based Dark Knight them. It has a good cintro and that's about it. Here's the cons:

-You can't see the XMB (It's all in the corner of the screen)
-The gameboot is too long and it loops a little
-It makes going back to the XMB from a game really slow
-It flips your preview pictures of your games (yeah, more detail below)

The last one is weird. Not only does it zoom in more than usual, it flips the preview picture! I confirmed this just by looking at the text from Viewtiful Joe and Force Unleashed. I'm considering downgrading back to 4.01 M33-2.

Lack of themes? ...theres thousands out. go to consolespot.net and click on xmb

your theme for dark knight is probably screwed because its missing files, or its not the one for your firmware. The xmb is supposed to display inside of cards. themes also have nothing to do with the firmwares performance so your comments about it being a bad firmware are kind of irrelevant. I'm not using 5.00 m33 myself but i can confirm that what your experiencing are user faults and not the firmwares doing.

Hah, I had all already downgraded like 5 minutes after this post.

Patience people, 5.00 has been out for 3 months and it takes time to catch up to the new changes. I am willing to bet that many authors did not expect any incompatibilities with their code and the new firmware.

Stupid themes... I can't even use them cause no one makes an icon for oneseg TV... looks ugly not having that icon skinned too.

At least popstation still works.
