Opening and editing .PBPs?

I recently got some requests for PS1 games from my friend. Now, he doesn't care about how it looks, so I got him some pre-made ones. However, since I'm going to use them too, I really want to fix the stupid PSX2PSP frame and change the boot,. Is it possible to open the contents of a .PBP and edit them?

You can't edit every aspect of them, but you can edit the .SFO information and the images that you see from your XMB.

I use PSPBrew when I edit my eboots.
If you use it then keep in mind that when editing larger eboots it can take a long time to save the eboot.
PSPBrew may have appeared to be frozen, but just let it sit still and finish the job.

I keep on getting invalid .PBP errors with PSPBrew.

Also, I can't find a good video for the icon1.pmf! So angry...

Exactly that. "Invalid .PBP!". The game is X-Men vs Street Fighter. I know what video I want but I can't find a good copy of it anywhere. It's the opening of the PS1 version of the game. I'm cutting certain clips and putting them together. I found a good snd0.at3 but the stupid youtube converter isn't working and I can't find the OST anywhere. While I'm at it, remember that Capcom vs SNK pic you helped me with Advent? The only thing I want to fix with my EBOOT of that is the snd0.at3 because it's fairly quiet. I need to find a download of the OST for it.

Can you mess with other Eboots? This one isn't corrupted or anything right?

I tried every PSX EBOOT I had. None worked.

Maybe it's the version of the PSPBrew that you're using. Or you're not compiling the PSX games right. Do they work right on your PSP?
