PSP-3000 with updated firmware: What options for homebrew?

Hello all,

My friend has a PSP-3000 with recent firmware (6.37). Is there a way to install custom firmware on it? I heard a Pandora battery only works on PSP-1000 and PSP-2000.

Why do you need a pandora battery? ;)
You can run homebrew from official Sony firmware!! :D
It's called self-signed homebrew and it has been out for a while. Check out this thread to download the games: viewtopic.php?f=69&t=19693&p=170545#p170545

Or if you update it to 6.39 , you can install temporary custom firmware :D

Custom firmware won't work properly on a psp 3000, but if you want a way to get homebrew games working on OFW i suggest copying this to your url: http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=25707 and search for something called ISO_TOOL 1.975 i haven't tried it yet but it says on the description that you can sign unsigned homebrew games so that they can work on OFW if you are unable to hack your psp, i strongly recommend that you copy the description on a word document or on notepad if you want to sign the homebrew games. Hope that solves your problem.

You can install emulators to play Playstation Portable ROMs on your phone or computer.
