PSP Slim 3.70 M33...now what?

Okay so I recently succeeded in getting CFW on my PSP Slim. Thank you all again for the patience and the help with that. 8)

Now, it's time for the fun part. I have put some .iso's on my PSP already from a friend and they work fine. But now I'm thinking about what I can really do with this machine. I've been reading up a little on Popsloader to play FFVII, and I see the new 4.01 M33 CFW from Dark Alex. Any thoughts on what my first steps should be? Besides getting an 8GB card from ebay... :P

Ahhh Rox thank you for that. :) I'm just wondering if I should upgrade the CFW. What do you think?

Also, I have the discs from PS1 for FFVII, I can make ISOs with Alcohol 120%, is that the best way to go to get FFVII on my PSP you think?

You can either make the iso's then use a program such as UMD GEN v4 to compress it, take out the padding and what not. Or you could download a ripped version, which has stuff taken out to reduce the size. Just depends on how big your memory card is. I usually prefer to make my own so I know that they will work and aren't missing things I like :)

I currently have a 4GB card...but I'm thinking of buying an 8GB on ebay. They're only 50-60 bucks. :D

Cool, I'll get on that. On another note, any suggestions on good ripping software? I'm going to rip my UMDs and just run them off my HD for better bettery life and performance. :twisted:

hmm, while using 3.71 of pops, it wont let me sleep/turn off the game for ffvii. but battles work just great. Any ideas why?
Phat 3.71->pandora 1.50->3.90 m33 (Sold on Ebay, suckers)
Slim 3.71->semi-brick->Nand Recovery->DCv3->3.71->3.80 m33-2->3.90 m33-3->4.01 m33-2
Want cintro for 4.01 m33? get cintro_390and Autostart_V4.zip, just follow the readme.
