Screen problems (need immediate help!)

ok so when i play my psp these vertical lines keep appearing on my screen and when i tap the screen lightly or sumtimes hard they go away only to come back later! does anyone kno how i can get this to stop? :shock:

What version of PSP do you have?
And don't push your screen in hard. You're going to break it!
And they are mispolorized pixels.

i guess you should get a homebrew app called pixel fixer, i dunno it helps stuck pixels and stuff but i dont know if it help you.

That's what I was getting at. ;)
I made it a while back and I need someone to test Pixer Fixer 2.
It will only be made for 4.XX CFW though. And I have a version for 3.XX right now.

Well, what firmware do you have? The one I have released it for 1.5...
It's a bit old. I'd have to upload my newest version to my server if you have another version.
What firmware do you have?
Go to Settings > System Settings to see what version your PSP is.
And do you have an original or slim PSP? You could still run it if you have an original one with time machine or 1.5 kernal add-on too.

my psp is version 4.05 and im not sure if its an original slim i got it around feburary and its the white darth vader model

then its slim. you need to downgrade.
