Custom Firmwares

hey, i'm going to be using pandora on my psp soon.

My friend recommended, after having gone back to 1.50 to from here then install
each and every CFW in order one by one.

Now, regardless if it makes any difference or not I would like to do this.

What I need help with is getting the LINKS to each individual CFW in order.

If someone could post a link where it has the download links to each CFW, or possibly
label the links for each CFW with their direct corresponding download that'd be great.

Ok one second question.

Updating through each individual CFW after pandora-ing to 1.50 is good right?

And, if theres more than one version for a CFW, do i skip to the latest version of that CFW, or update through each version before updating to the next CFW?

for example, would i update in this order:

1.50
2.71 special edition RevA, RevB, RevB' RevB'' then Rev C
Then after all those:
3.02 Open edition RevA, RevB
3.03 Open Edition RevA, RevB, RevB', RevB'' then Rev C

and so on? Or skip the revs to B''/C?

If you want. Or you can skip around. Go to 3.40 OE then 3.52 M33-4 then 4.01 M33(Highest).

Some updates require you to be on version 2 or higher in order for you to update.

I see, I was thinking of stopping on 3.71 mainly since i've heard about less FFVII game troubles and 9.

You can play any PSX game on 4.01 M33-2. You just..

First download this. It is the popsloader plugin with every single version of pops. After acquiring you game from any number of places check this page to see what pops is best for your particular game.

Next enable the plugin ("popsloader.prx") from the Recovery Menu. To access this, hold down R when you hardboot your PSP. Now when you first launch a PSX game, a menu will ask you what POPS version you would like to use. If the game works fine normally, select the version from flash. The Popsloader plugin will remember your selection, and use this the next time you launch the game.

To change your selection (if the one you are using does not work properly) hold down "R" when you boot the game and you will be able to select a different version from the menu.

This way you can use version like version 3.02 -> 3.72 pops and play any game.

really though that would be an insane waste of time if you go through every firmware, just do this:

if you can get hold of a magic memory stick, you can can install 4.01 m33 straight into a official PSP, without downgrading or going through each step. There's a guide here on how to create a 3.90 M33 magic stick http://www.pandoragadgets.co.uk/news/2/Downgrading-guide.html

we already said that.
and the tutorial you provided states that you need a pandoras battery.
the magic memory stick is needed to write boot code so you can install pandora.
good job tho finding a tutorial tho. most people that want to learn cant or are too lazy to do that.
