snes9xTYL-0.4.2.rar

Hi! ive finally managed (with some great help and some excellent tutorials) to get my Phat psp running on 4.01m33-2 +k1.50! yay! ive downloaded this snes emulator so i can once again enjoy my snes without dragging it out of the attic, trouble is i cany locate alot of the roms of games i own and cant rip them myself. i dont in anyway condone people violating copyright but wondered if anyone could PM a link to a good rom site for snes? And of the few roms i have found of games i own there seem to be a lot of issue's with the emulation. Is the emulation of snes a difficult task for the psp? i understand it has alot of specific chipsets inside that the psp wont have (mode7). Thanks for your help!

Snes_9x runs the ROMS very smoothly, and you should have no trouble running games.

you could try doperoms.com

It's the website I use to obtain my ROMS.

Some of the ROMS might be corrupted, so I suggest looking 'round for them.

I don't believe there is a region problem with the ROM emulation. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

There's a Roms page on my website. One of the sites has every Jap/Eng SNES rom, so go there.

yeah, i havent found any problems with regions so far. i think i may have got a corrupted version of unirally, i got a new version which works much better, not perfectly as it has some slow down on the menu screen but it runs good enough to play. im giving up on the mode 7 heavy games as none of them run without slowdown that cripples the game. is it the emulator im using do you think? gona go check your page out roxfox, i'll report back when ive checked it out!

Perhaps this thread may help you figure it out or install a different one and teach you how to set it, so you can get the best speeds. http://psp.brewology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11606

hey, ive checked that out. theres some good advice there which ive implemented but it still seems i cant get 100% accurate emulation for any mode 7 games. ive downloaded this http://pspbrew.com/?page=fileInfo&cid=4400&d=369 out of the thread, can some one tell me is this just an update? do i copy it to memory stick and run it or is it just an added file to put in my snes folder?

Try UO_SNES_9x

Its in the PSPBrew downloads section, under SNES emulators.

hey Rox, thats what im refering to uo_snes9x_002y32 but it just has an eboot file and the read me isnt the best. so it says to place the eboot into psp>game>snes9x but that already has an eboot file in it. so do i just replace the existing eboot or do i have to rename the eboot? actually, hold on, im using snes9xtyl. do i need to change to an uo_snes_9x first?

Replace it, but It's its own App independent of the previous version of SNES_9x you have. I had some good configs posted in General Chat. The name of the thread is: Rox Paks

well, ive tried both those emulators and ive tinkered around with settings on both but i cannot get most games to run smoothly, some are either too fast or slow and some only have synced sound in psp accelerated mode but it loses the picture! so i dont know what the problem is with it, does anyone know if it could be a compatibility issue with 4.01m33-4 CFW? is anyone using it on this firmware with perfect emulation? Thanks for all the help.

Checked out some of your website site Rox, some good stuff on there.
