Okay, swapped the mobos. Now instead of a messed up working PSP and a brand new not working PSP; I got a nice, working one and a bad, not working one. Much better and easier to sell. However, it was a real pain. I have a headache now from working with all those little parts. 2 tabs broke in the bad PSP, one that keeps the PSP in hold and one of the ribbon cable tabs for the screen (the small one). Also, I had to swap the screens after the mobo swap because the screen is broken on the inside and I didn't notice. Now I got one hell of a fixer-upper now. Needs a fixed mobo, new screen and 2 new tabs. *sob*

I had this same problem with my PSP it was a motherboard problem i got myself a new one and it worked like a charm. Dont go thinking you can fix it because in most cases you cant because its hard... Just go buy a mommy board :P for a good 40 bucks i think..and then youll be good to go. Goose
