Almost there

I have a Slim and Datel Tool Battery with a 1 gig stick.

I watched this tutorial, and found it helpful.

But I have a few more questions.

What is NAND? How do I back it up? Do I need to format my stick before making it a magic stick? Can I still play real copies of games I've already bought once I've done this homebrew thing?

How and at what point do I install the CFW and to where? Can I just install the CFW 3.90 M33 straight or do I have to downgrade to 1.50 somehow?

But I have to download 3.90 M33 first right? Do I put it on the stick so the PSP can install it? I've looked for a link for 3.90 M33, couldn't find one. Has anyone got a link?

Custom firmware can be found at dark-alex.org

The NAND is the onboard 32mb (64mb for slim psp) memory. It will backup for you.

Cheers mate. SHould I upgrade to regular 3.90 before going to M33. Do I just put it on the card, out of the rar? In what folder should I put it in so teh PSP can find it?

Bro, you can't downgrade then upgrade you have to flash to get to any CFW.

I think Desperter Cementerio does that.

What? I wasn't talking about downgrading at all. I was just making sure about what I had to do before installing 3.90M33. I don't understand what you mean by 'flash'. Where do I put the 3.90M33 file on the stick? At the top of the stack?

dude hes just tryin to help and depstar cememtario is used to make a magic memorystick....its used for slim psp....you will need it if your gonna put cfw on ur psp

I'm never one to be un-appriciative but I feel Pacman understands better.

Why haven't I heard about this cememtario before? I have never read about it in any of the tuts. Surely I just need to format the stick?

dude the link in dpm's sig will tell you everything lol including all the downloads and tut on how to make ur magic ms....you need it to put cfw on ur psp

just remember you need a second psp with homebrew already on it to be able to use the depstar cementario method...should have mentioned that earlier i jus forgot sorry
