New to psp

I just got a psp from a friend recently. I was wondering how to put emulators and homebrew stuff on the psp. My firmware version is 3.40 and its the phat psp.

Nope, Lumines works on 3.50. I used it to downgrade my psp .

so i have to update to 3.50 to downgrade. how do i update to 3.50?

update with that file (copy/paste the entire url into your url box)

Place it under:
/PSP/GAME/UPDATE

You might have to make the UPDATE folder, no big deal.
