Quick Question.

Hello everyone. I am new to the whole homebrew scene and I have not done anything to my PSP. I have my PSP updated with the latest system software(3.95 I believe it is). I just wanted to know if I would be able to install homebrew on my PSP. Thanks.

No, not without going to a CFW you can't.

The way to do that is pandora.
Are you going to hardmod your battery, or buy a premade pandora?
Also, do you have a PHat or a slim?

You don't have to buy anything if you don't want to.

Are you sure you don't want me to teach you how to flash a CFW?
You can't run homebrew without one ;)

What are the chances of bricking my PSP by doing that?

0% Because with a pandora you can unbrick, in the unlikely event that you do brick.

Heres a quick checklist:
--A PRO Duo memory card(Greater than 64MB, less than 4GB)
    --A Computer, any OS
    --A fully charged battery
--A USB Cable, or other item to give your PC access to your Memcard
    --A Screw Driver, Flathead
--A Sharp Knife. Such as a craft knife

Have those items?

Thats fine. We'll do step one now.

#1 Download the 'Desperter Cementario Auto Installer' form the link in my sig. Extract the contents to a new folder on your desktop.

#2 Format your memory card on your PSP.
Please remember that Formatting your MS will delete everything on it. Back up anything you don't want to be lost.

#3 Connect your PSP to your PC, and run the Batch(.bat) file in the new folder.

#4 I feel that the on-screen text is easy to follow. I will not explain how to use the installer, unless asked a specific question.

That is step one.
Let me know when you finish :D
You need winrar to extract the DCV4 Auto installer BTW.

The only problem is that I don't have my charger with me....and I won't be able to get it until tomorrow. So could I PM you another time? or if its not too much work then post the other steps and I'll try to follow them. It's your call. Thanks for your help though...

Quick question!

What kind of PSP do you have?
Also I could tell you how to make a PSP Charger if you have the necessary items ;)
