4 GIG Magic MEMORY STICK on PSP SLim (SILVER 2000 model)

Ok so i need HELP!!

I was planning to buy a 4 GIG memory card so i could play more games like DJ MAX 2
But im scared cause i herd rumors that it might not work and i dont wanna spend all of my money on the 4 GIG if i cant make it a magic memory card.

So can someone tell me the TRUTH to whether or not i can make a magic memory stick with a 4 GIGABYTE memory card.

In short, no you cannot make a magic memory stick out of a 4gb stick. Most people use 2gb and under as they have a higher success rate. In actuality well you could make a magic memory stick using a 4gb ms, but it probably wouldn't work. If you want to be sure, just buy a 2gb. You can use 4gb's homebrew and what not, but the only thing you shouldn't use it for is a magic memory stick, but it might just work.

So yea, if you want to be safe, buy a 2gb. If you feel like trying your luck, buy a 4gb and tell us if your instance works. Some do, some don't.

OK THANK YOU SO much its greatly appreciated i guess i should just buy a 2 gig. AND besides DJ MAX 2 only takes up 1.5 GIGS and i still have my old 1 GIG memory card so yea !! AND AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

You can still use a 4gig though.

A PSP at a CFW in theory could use a 1TB card, If such a thing existed.

Use ur old 1 GB to make the Maic stick and buy a 4GB for other stuff .

thats what i did, bought a 4 gig for my games, and a 1gig to MMS. Now i have the 4g for games and movies, and the 1g for music, just use the little card case it comes with so it doesnt get messed up.

I have a 1gig for Games, Music, Videos, and... Whats left? And a 128MB for DCv4

Wait...that's rather odd. I used my 4 Gig MS to make into a magic memory stick, and it worked fine with me.

It does work, but maybe I was lucky? 4gig MS worked with me.

my magic memory stick for DCv5 or whatever is a 256mb, never failed me
