Problems playing ISO's..

Hi guys really need some help playing ISO's on my PSP. Have searched around but because I don't understand everything being posted its kind of hard!

I've got a fat PSP i bought off ebay but it came with firmware version 3.95. I went round to my mates this morning and he used his pandoras battery to install 3.71 M33. I downloaded some PSX iso's and put them in an ISO folder in the root of my PSP. When I go to Game >> Memory Stick on my PSP it says There are no games..

I think I have the PSP 1.5 Kernel because I used the 1.50 add on found here (http://psp.brewology.com/forum/viewtopi ... 9567#87168) but on my PSP it said I was already up to date.

Any ideas?
Thanks :)

Edit - Is it worth trying 3.90 M33? That's what im attempting to install right now

I think psx games work best as eboots. So those would go in your game folder, not your iso folder. The iso folder is mainly used to .iso copies of psp games. They have converters for iso to eboots, but cant remember the name atm. Try and dl some psx eboots and see if those work.
3.90 m33-3 is amazing. ive had that since ive come back to the psp sceen a few months back.
Phat 3.71->pandora 1.50->3.90 m33 (Sold on Ebay, suckers)
Slim 3.71->semi-brick->Nand Recovery->DCv3->3.71->3.80 m33-2->3.90 m33-3->4.01 m33-2
Want cintro for 4.01 m33? get cintro_390and Autostart_V4.zip, just follow the readme.
